3D printing of cancer cell clusters for the screening of therapeutic agents
I obtained my Master’s degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Drug Innovation from University of Groningen, Netherlands. After that, I undertook PhD studies at the University of Groningen in the department of Biochemistry. My PhD study focused on characterization and application of a mechanosensitive channel protein. Following this, I joined the Bayley Group as a PDRA in 2014, to investigate 3D printing of cancer cells. My goal is to build a 3D tumor model, which would generate a powerful platform for investigating tumor-biology, and screening of therapeutic and diagnostic agents.
